The interesting new build utilised a concrete structure sandwiched between two layers of insulation giving excellent U values.
We installed a conventional gas condensing boiler linked to a solar thermal system through an unvented hot water cylinder feeding; under floor heating the ground floor, radiators, towel rails, hot water to four bathrooms and a weather compensation unit controlling the output of the heating system.
